My 1st Holiday

I'm enjoying my 1st holiday at the moment :-)

Maman has taken me down to Grandpa & Granjay's house in Toormore / Schull and we're spending time with Grandpa, Granjay, Tata Emilie, Tonton Simon as well as Uncle Ben. Daddy is joining us on Wednesday evening for 5 days.

I asked to have my photo taken beside the Toormore sign so I could prove I'm actually here!

My first shoes

Maman & I were helping Granjay buy some shoes for herself in Clarks, when I spotted some shoes for my size. After first telling me that I'll have to wait until I'm walking before I can get a pair, Maman then had a closer look and got talking to one of the shop assistants who explained that Clarks now do a range of first shoes for different stages -pram, crawling, cruising and walking!!!! (They consider cruising to be when babies can stand and walk assisted but aren't actually walking on their own yet). We showed Granjay and she couldn't resist buying me a pair of pram shoes. I LOVE THEM check them out in the photo! I won't be wearing them all the time though because I do so love going bare foot. Funnily enough the little booklet about the first shoes even has a section that says that Clarks shoes still recommend bare foot for little growing feet. 

Meeting Tata Emilie & Tonton Simon

Oh I'm so glad I'm able to put faces to all the different names that Maman has been talking to me about! 


I met Tata Emilie on Saturday with her husband Tonton Simon. I recognised Maman's sister from skype but I hadn't realised that she's got a bump in front of her. Apparently it's my little cousin who is due to arrive at the end of September but I don't quite understand why she's eaten him?!?

Meeting Grandpa Ross & Uncle Ben

I finally met Maman's Daddy & brother on Friday evening. I actually call them Grandpa Ross and Uncle Ben....

Now I know where I get my posing from!!!!

My first smile

I smiled to Maman & Daddy for the first time just before my 5th weekiversary! Maman was changing me at 5pm and I gave her my best smile possible. I think she nearly cried! She then ran down to Daddy with me and after a bit of coaxing I smiled a couple of smiles at him too :-) 


I must say I do like the reaction I get when I give them a smile! They go even more gaga over me!!!

I'm actually famous on another blog too :-)

A kind lady called Niamh took photos of me when I was 7 days old and is getting an album of photos ready for Maman & Daddy. I can't wait to see the album, however in the meantime I got to read what she'd written about me in her blog. Not only do I LOVE the photos she took of me but I really like what she wrote too...
