Things move when I hit them

Wow I've just started to notice that things move when I hit them...

My work out routine

I'm really proud of myself as I've started a new work out routine. It consists of a good 15 to 20 mins of non stop exercise. It gets very tiring by the end of it as I'm on my back the whole time kicking and lifting my legs as much as possible but I have a great time doing it :-) Sometimes I work out in silence but other times I chat away to whoever is next to me. I have also been known to chat to a blank wall as well as the back of a bench but thankfully these occurrences aren't as frequent!

The Tessyman Trio

Maman's friend Tracey came to visit us last week and kindly took a couple of family portrait photos for us :-) We'd tried the day before on Daddy & Maman's wedding anniversary but I found it too tricky trying to reach my arm out above us, hold the camera and remember to smile!!!!!

22nd August is a special date

Maman & Daddy let me celebrate their 2nd wedding anniversary with them :-) We spent some time just chilling together and chatting on their bed before finishing off the evening at the Indian restaurant that Daddy took Maman to just before he got down on one knee and proposed beside the river in the UCC Gardens! We also took some fun photos together ...

my parents LOVE me

Shoe sizes differ

These are my shoes on top of Maman's flipflops. I find it so strange to think that my feet should one day get to Maman's size 5.5 if not bigger?!?!?

Girly time

Maman & I had some of our friends round for tea/milk and a chat/sleep the other day. It was great seeing my friends Poppy and Naima again. They're still bigger than me but they didn't look as big as they had last time which has made me realise that I'm starting to catch up a bit :-) We had a lovely time chilling out in the playroom. I was very good and remembered Daddy's "sharing is caring" motto. We all took it in turns to sit in the Bumbo seat or lie on the jungle play mat. Here's a photo of the 3 of us lying side by side on my quilt...

My 1st bracelet

Granjay kindly gave me a gorgeous sterling silver bracelet for my dedication. It's got my name engraved on the front and the date of my dedication engraved on the back. I don't wear it every day as it's still a little big on my wrist and I can't guarantee that it won't fall off me but I thought you'd like to see what it looks like.

Thank you so much for my lovely bracelet Granjay I love it nearly as much as I love you :-)

Grandma & Grandad's visit

Grandma & Grandad Tessyman came to see me last week before I left for France. We had some fun together. I even got to show them how much I love my bumbo seat...

Bumbo Seats ROCK!!!!

Grandma Tessyman kindly got me my Bumbo Seat and I absolutely love it. Not only is the Bumbo Seat a great support for my back and spine, the seat also helps me to watch what is going on around me. It's far easier for me to turn my head around and see things whilst sitting than it is when I'm lying flat on my back. Here are a few piccies of me in it. You'll notice that I'm also fascinated by the big bugs that seem to have stuck to my socks and wrist bracelets...

Thank you for my bumbo seat Grandma I love it nearly as much as I love you :-)

a very strange position

The following photo is definitely one of those photos that will end up getting shown at my 18th or 21st birthday to embarrass me! I figured that if I were to be the one showing the photo now, then I might have a fighting chance of it not being remembered later on ... hmm we'll see!
Anyway, the explanation regarding this photo is that Maman found me fast asleep in this position at 7.30am. We'd arrived back home from Schull at 10pm and Maman had just dumped me into my crib expecting me to wake up soon so I could get fed. After waiting, waiting and waiting some more, she ended up going to sleep as I never woke up!
I don't remember how I got myself into the position but I do still vaguely remember being extremely cramped and uncomfortable but still managing to fall asleep ;-)

Pics with Maman's family

Maman had fun taking different shots of me with Tonton Dan, Granjay & Grandpa the other day. I thought you'd like me to share the photos with you ...

A new carrying position

I've grown too big to be held in the newborn position in Maman's Moby Wrap carrier that Tata Emilie gave her. We tried out a new position for me today and it's really comfortable. This time my legs stick out the bottom meaning I can stretch properly. I can either face into Maman's chest or else face outwards. I'm sure you can guess which of the two positions is my favourite!!!

Chilling with my Great Granny

I love visiting my Great Granny. She always gives me a couple of smiles and I even manage to make her laugh when I dribble or let some funny noises out of my mouth or bottom. I think she really likes me because she and I have staring competitions together :-)

Grandpa, Maman & I had our photo taken with Great Granny so that we would have 4 generations in the same photo. I'm the 4th generation whatever that's supposed to mean!!!

Here are some photos of me chilling with Great Granny. She has lovely blue eyes the same colour as mine.

4 generations

Meeting Tonton Dan

I've finally met all my Uncles and Aunts now. Tonton Dan was my last Uncle to meet. He seems really cool too. He's got blue eyes and dark hair so I might actually end up like him who knows!!!

Munster all the way

I've now been given the low down on rugby and Munster. I asked Maman if I could have my own Munster kit but apparently I need to wait until I'm a little bigger before I'd fit into one!!!

Go Munster team I'm rooting for you

Different shots of me

Maman took some random shots of me the other day...

yawning
day dreaming

I love my snuggles with Maman
