I love flying

Maman & I flew to Munich on Thursday 20th October. This was my second flight and as I was awake for some of this one, I was able to realise how much fun it is to fly in a plane :-)

Snug as a bug

Granjay kindly bought me this snuggly zip up suit for my buggy. I got to try it out yesterday and then again this evening during my family walks with Maman and Daddy. I may look a little lost in it but I'm seriously toasty warm & cosy :-) Thank you for my bugaboo Granjay I LOVE it xxx

My first trip to Belfast

Daddy, Maman and I went to visit Auntie Tina and Uncle Bruce last weekend.  I had a great time and got to have some lovely cuddles with them both. I remembered Tina from when she visited me in my third week of being born but it was my first time meeting her funny husband Bruce. Apparently it was a long drive up but I don't remember anything from Kildare onwards!

I got to go to the market with Maman and Tina on Saturday morning, watched Bruce playing his rugby match in the afternoon and then went to creche for the first time on Sunday morning while Maman & Daddy listened to a man talk in Church.

We also popped in to see Auntie Rachel and my cousins Aoife, Daniel & Niamh in Thurles on our way home

My first rugby match

I watched my first real rugby match this weekend when we visited Tina & Bruce in Belfast. It was cold and wet so Maman didn't let me watch for too long but I still got to see Bruce set one of his team mates up for a great try :-) Rugby looks like a great sport, I wonder if Daddy and Maman would let me play it when I'm older!!

A new pram position

I gave poor Maman a hard time today when she kindly prepared me to go out for a walk in my pram. I'm way too curious now to accept just lying on my back when we go for a walk!

We eventually compromised when Maman let me sit in the pram for a while to look at the fish in the hallway before heading out. Turns out that as soon as Maman started wheeling me on my back I fell asleep for the entire walk :-)

Mercy with Naiima

Maman apparently used to beat all her friends at the game mercy when she was younger and so I tried to play it with my friend Naiima but we couldn't quite link hands for long enough...

My Birthday twin

I met my birthday twin Astrid yesterday and had a great time at her house playing with her toys.
She was born 2 hours after me weighing 0.3kgs less and now weighs 0.5kgs more!!! Maman and her Mummy think we look quite similar!

Newsflash!

Maman is so proud of me that she's asked me to share the news with all you lovely readers too...

I finally put on weight today!!! 

After three weeks of staying at 5.6kgs I ended up weighing 5.8kgs today :-)

This still keeps me at the 15th centile on the weight chart but everyone is ok with that considering how much I exercice throughout the day burning calories! 

Despite 0-3 month clothes going up to 6.5kgs, I have completely moved into 3-6 month clothes this week too! Considering I'm 4 months +, Maman decided that she prefers to have me in the next size up outfits at this stage even if it means having to roll my trousers and sleeves up!! Maman explained that I got so many lovely outfits in this specific size that she wants to make sure I wear them all at least once :-) I'm certainly not complaining as it means heaps of new clothes to wear whoop whoop!!!

Holly's guard dog Buddy

My friend Holly got herself a guard dog today called Buddy. He's got the same big eyes that Holly has except that his are blue instead of purple. I love him loads already and am looking forward to having him join us from now on ...

My exercising gear

Maman bought me some tracksuit pants this week so I can exercice with her when she does her work out video! Shhhh don't tell her I've told you but she's only actually managed one session of the video so far LOL!!! Mind you she does do pilates once a week so she's not doing too badly!!!

The deal is that I'm allowed to exercice with Maman (facing away from the TV) as long as I also start putting on weight again. I've stayed at 5.6kgs / 12lbs8oz for the last 3 weeks and so I've gradually gone from the 25th centile, to the 20th and now to the 15th. The truth is I'm far too interested in looking around than feeding from Maman and now that she's figured out my trick and makes sure it's just the two of us in a quiet room I arch my back away from her and whine. I'm not too sure why I do that to be honest because I know I'm frustrating Maman but I think I'm starting to stop my nonsense so watch this space!!!

My new cousin Lucy :-)

I'm delighted to announce that my new cousin Lucy was born on Tuesday 4th October at 10.12am. She weighed 3.480kgs and measured 51cms so that's slightly heavier and longer than me but the same proportions :-) Maman reckons that Lucy and I look really similar and so she did another collage!!! Here it is with me on the left and Lucy on the right. I've also attached the video Maman took of me finding out about Lucy. I can't wait to meet my little cousin ....

Meeting my 2nd cousin Abigail

My 2nd cousin Abigail came to visit me last Wednesday and I let her sleep in my big cot in my room as I'm still sleeping in my little crib in Maman & Daddy's room for another month.  

Abigail was a bit upset when she first met me but she soon cheered up :-)

chilling with Liam

I went to visit my friend Liam last week who is just 2 weeks older than me. We had a lovely time and he  even let me share his playpen with him. Liam's big brother Joshua looked after us for a while too.
